What a High Day in Zion It Will Be
Research shows that between the ages of 7 and 10, children receive a spiritual awakening. To wait any longer, this desire may fade away. I praise God right now, because this Sabbath, April 29, we have eight students who are preparing to start a new life in Christ through baptism. One of the benefits of SDA education is the intentional spiritual component the students receive. As a result of our “Week of Prayers” and the on-going, regular Bible classes that the students receive, over 15 middle school students made the decision to take an in-depth Bible Study class, which was taught by Pastor Rick New. This Sabbath, eight of those students will openly give their life to Christ. How awesome is that!
Zoom! Zoom! On Fridays, Dr. Mosby has “STEM Fridays” with her first and second graders. Visiting her class is always a treat. This past Friday, she took her students outside where they were able to control their iRobots around the parking lot. (Selected middle school students helped her students when needed.) We were allowed to be part of the audience; what a wonderful outing for all of us. Thank you Dr. Mosby!
Weekly Scripture
For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.
