Happy Thanksgiving!
Week of Prayer
Last month we had a double blessing. Pastor Rick, interim pastor of Naples SDA church, blessed us all with the story of Daniel. Our older students learned some new things about Daniel that they did not know before; and some of our younger students were introduced to this great man of God for the first time. At the end of the week, we can say that our cups were full.
Then the following week, Angelo Carmona, a former student of NACS and a mentor and minister to the youth had our cups running over as he ministered to the middle school students on the 30th of October and to the full student body on the 1st of November.
NACS Students Cast Their Vote
Thanks to Dr. Mosby and her husband, NACS students were able to cast their votes for the next president of the United States. Although their votes will not be counted in the general election, the students were able to experience the process of registering to vote and then casting their vote for the next president of the United States. Now let’s see what the rest of country says on November 5th.
Urgent Message
Parents, after careful consideration, the NACS finance committee agreed to raise the aftercare fee to a flat rate of $5.00 per student per day. A late fee of $10 per child will be charged for students picked up after 5:30 p.m. Monday-Thursdays and after 4:30 p.m. on Fridays, unless previous arrangements were made with the aftercare director. These changes will take effect in January 2025. Families requiring an early morning drop-off will be charged a $10 drop-in fee for anytime before 8:00 a.m.
Finally
NACS has been praying and waiting for two modular units to help with our lack of space. And now that all of the permitting has been approved, our modulars are on the way. Praise God! NACS is celebrating this special moment with a ground breaking ceremony that will take place on November 17 at 11:00 a.m. We are inviting all of our NACS family to come out and celebrate with us.
