While serving in the public schools she kept abreast of all the trends of the Seventh-day Adventist School system by sitting on the board of education for the Southern Union. In addition, Dr. Mosby sat on our own Naples Adventist Christian School board as both member and board chair for 15 plus years. During her years of teaching, she received numerous accolades for her work done with students from all races and backgrounds. In addition she somehow found time to receive her doctorate degree in Organizational Leadership. We are privileged to have Dr. Debora Mosby join our teaching team this year!
New This Year
Welcome, welcome to our new families! We are so very excited to have you as a part of our NACS family. As Christians, we do not believe in happenstance. Your family being here is a God-thing. :D
New this year is our process for ordering uniforms. All of you have already been contacted regarding this process. Ordering online, is new not only for us at NACS, but also for our vendor. Due to the newness of this platform there will be some tweaks and adjustments that need to me made. Thank you for your patience as we all work together to make this a smooth transition for all.
This year NACS will be going though their accreditation. An accreditation is an official recognition that a school is creditable. This means that our school’s education is of good quality and that our school maintains educational standards well enough that other institutions will recognize the professional level of education claimed by students and faculty alike. NACS accreditation is governed by the North American Division and is comparable to Middle States Accreditation Association in which we also hold.
Check your calendar. This year our staff development days are on Fridays. This will not be a half day for students as it was last year. This year this will be a day off for students. Students are encouraged to use this day to get caught up on assignments. Students should expect homework/classwork for these days.
