Meet our new Treasurer, Mrs. Ana Maria Escobar!
Welcome to school year 2023-2024...
Hello NACS family,
I pray everyone was able to get a bit of rest this summer and that all is well. Here at the school, we have been busy trying to get the building and the facilities ready for another school year.
There are a couple of big changes that you need to be aware of for school year 2023-2024. The first being, we are saying goodbye to our treasurer, Laura Carlisle. Mrs. Carlisle has been part of the NACS family for more than 10 years. As you may or may not know, Mrs. Carlisle was more than a treasurer. She was our Data Manager, our Step-Up Administrator, our Facilities Manager, and so much more. Mrs. Carlisle will be greatly missed! The Bible says to everything there is a season. We pray God’s richest blessings for Mrs. Carlisle as she moves forward into her new season.
Mrs. Carlisle’s departure has resulted in the welcoming of Mrs. Ana Maria Escobar. Mrs. Escobar will take over as treasurer starting this school year.
Mrs. Escobar has over 20 years of experience working in finance and our school information system. She is located in the Orlando area, but she is willing to meet with our parents and constituent members when needed. Mrs. Escobar will be at our parent orientation to meet with all of you on August 14, 2023 @ 6:30 PM.
Hungry? This year NACS is partnering with Bubbakoo’s Burritos for lunch. If parents wish to purchase lunch for their children during the week, they now have this option. Bubbakoo’s will be at our parent orientation with lunch samples for you to try.
Again, thank you so much for your patience with the uniforms. As mentioned before, we are partnering with School Belles Uniforms. We are happy to say that the uniforms are now ready to be ordered. Although it’s a little late, School Belles has assured us that they will do all they can to get the uniforms sent out to you before the first day of school. Please check your email for information from Subrina for details on how to order.
August 14th has been selected as the day that you can come by the school and drop off your child’s school supplies. You may drop off the supplies between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM. At 6:30 PM, we will begin our parent orientation meeting at the church. This meeting is mandatory! It will be counted as a school day.
Last but not least, please double check your EMA Portal to see if your child is enrolled at NACS. If you have not accepted NACS as your school of choice, then your child is NOT enrolled. We only have a small handful of parents who have actually completed this last step. It’s paramount that this last step be completed in order to finish the Step-Up process.
