It's cold and flu season
Hello NACS family,
It’s cold and flu season, and add to that the latest variant of COVID. The result is sick teachers and students. If your child is not feeling well and he or she is running a temperature, your child must remain at home. I am very thankful that this is by no means a large amount of our student population; but nonetheless, we do want to keep down the rate of spreading.
So please, if your child does not have a temperature but he/she does have a slight cold, be sure to send them to school wearing a mask. The mask must be worn at all times while in the building. If you want to cut down on the chances of your child getting sick while at school encourage him/her to:
· Wash their hands often
· Wear a mask
· Practice social distance
· Increase Vitamin C intake
· Eat healthy foods and stay away from sugar and milk products
Curriculum Night
Curriculum Night will be September 1st @ 6:30. This is a time for parents to find out about the happenings in the child’s classroom.
Staff Development
Our first staff development will be Friday, September 2nd. There will be no school for students on this day. All staff development days will be on Fridays this year.
Breakfast on The Beach
Our beach outing will be here before you know it. Please remember that this is a required event for the students. This event will take place September 11th.
