And the People Said, “Amen”

Hello NACS Family,

Without a doubt the highlight of our week was our NACS Sabbath at the Naples church. What an absolute blessing we received on Saturday. Everyone did a wonderful job!

Our program started with a welcome given in the students' original tongue of Spanish, English, Creole and French. The praise team, consisting of Ben Eustache, Phoebe Constant, Ms. Robinson and Ms. Subrina, did a remarkable job. The songs they sang are still playing in my ears. Speaking of songs, the kindergarteners put a smile on our face with the Happy Song led out by Mr. John. Mrs. O’Riordan’s students and Ms. Robinson’s classes blessed us with a choral reading and a poem of He Lives, which was the theme for the day. Jason, Zara and Sauvannah did a fantastic job as soloist of the choir. The NACS choir learned the songs via Zoom by Mrs. Melissa Connor of Atlanta; and since Mrs. Connor was not able to be here in person, Mrs. Rose Louidor conducted the kids like a ‘boss’. Thank you so much Mrs. Louidor. The students were amazing!

Of course the biggest part of our program was Mr. Frank Runnels' message entitled, Because He Lives. Mr. Runnels is the Vice president of Education for the Florida Conference. He shared the gospel message in a most refreshing way. Christ our righteousness, was made plain.

A high day in Zion, indeed.

Weekly Scripture

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weakness, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

(2 Corinthians 12:9)
