A Shelter in the Time of Storm
Pastor Rick New talked with the students about the storms of life.
Hello NACS family,
One of the benefits of having your children at NACS is the opportunities they have for giving their heart to Christ. This week the students were afforded that opportunity during our Fall Week of Prayer, with Pastor Rick New as the speaker. The week was amazing as Pastor Rick talked with the students about the storms of life. On Monday, they learned to call upon God as a first response to trouble; on Tuesday, they learned to call upon Him for peace in the storm; on Wednesday, they learned to call upon God as a powerful friend; on Thursday, they learned to call upon Him to come into their hearts; and on Friday, they learned to call upon Him to take them home. To God be the glory! Over 12 of our students signed up for our Bible study/baptism classes, which Pastor Rick will also give.
Also, this week we started tutoring. We are getting started a little late this year… We apologize for that. Unfortunately, Collier County Public Schools had difficulty finding tutors to serve. Currently, we are still short, but we started anyway. We could no longer hold off on providing the services our students need.
It is that time again... time for Operation Christmas Child. A time when our families and church members come together to fill shoe boxes for children who are in need across the world. The process is easy: get a standard size shoe box, pack it with items a child would need or want, and return it to NACS by Friday, November 18th.
