The Votes Are In

NACS Student Government

Hello NACS family,

Speeches were made, signs were posted, and now the votes are in. This year NACS started a Student Government association. Student Government allows students to have a voice in the activities that go on at the school. This process allows students to take on leadership roles that, prayerfully will result in greater leadership roles as the students matriculate through school and life. The elected student leaders this year are:

President: Chrisnel Louidor

Vice President: Elizabeth Belen

Chaplin: Daliah Dory

Secretary: Aungiaunna Flanders

Treasurer: Zephaniah Valentin

Third Grade Representative: Jaedon Dory

Fourth Grade Representative: Jearayan Andre

The students had a wonderful time preparing and executing their plans for leadership. They did not all win, but they all had a fun and memorable experience.

Speaking of memorable experiences, on Sunday we had our Breakfast on the Beach Bash. The day was absolutely perfect. We could not have asked for better weather. The majority of our parents came out; the breakfast was delicious and a great time was had by all. Thank you parents, for making our Breakfast on the Beach a success!

Ms. Catron would like to share that she is also experiencing success in her gardening class. She states, “The school garden is starting to shape up. We are harvesting sweet potatoes, sweet potato stems and leaves, which are editable and very tasty when prepared in a number of ways. We also have big plans for our salsa garden (tomatoes, peppers, onions, tomatillos, and cilantro). We are first figuring out how to work around the fire ants and keeping the garden watered.” Don’t worry Ms. Catron, I will take care of those pesky ants for you, and as of late... God is providing the water. :D
