Breakfast on the Beach

Time to learn about God's nature
Hello NACS family,
This past weekend we recognized Labor Day. Many of us may have used this time to relax, have cook-outs, attend parades, or have picnics. Labor Day started mainly to recognize or celebrate American workers and colleagues. So hopefully, we remembered to invite our colleagues to our gatherings and let them know that they are appreciated, since Labor Day is after all about them. :D
Are you ready? I know the students are. Next week Sunday, September 11th, is our annual Breakfast on The Beach bash. This is one of our outings that is designed for us to let our “hair down” and to enjoy some fun in the sun. This week Ms. Subrina will be sending out flyers inviting you to bring a breakfast item. We will worship, eat, and learn a thing or two about God’s nature, then enjoy the blessing of living on a peninsula... THE BEACH!
This is considered a school day for the students so all are expected to be there. :D Please note, you may not drop off your child(ren) to be picked up after. If you have made prior arrangements with another NACS family then that is between you and that family. Your children are in your care during this event. When dealing with water activities safety is paramount.
Thank you for those families who were able to come out for Curriculum night this past week. One of our goals at NACS is to keep our parents well informed of what is going on in the classrooms. If you were not able to make it out, please contact the teacher for anything you may have missed. We love our NACS family! So glad you are here. :D
Weekly Scripture
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. Matthew 11:28-29 (NIV)
